The Berlin Design Week in 2022 showcased a diverse range of design projects under the name “Higher Purpose”. The event featured over 150 participants from 42 countries. One of the highlights was the exhibition “Standing - A State of Design Perspective”. Myceen had the opportunity to present the Pendant Lamp B Wise and the Blox series. It merged works of fine arts with contemporary design objects, blending low-tech, craftsmanship, and high-tech elements. The exhibition aimed to explore the current state of design and its impact on society through a variety of installations and artworks. Myceen’s participation highlighted the environmental benefits of using mycelium, such as its biodegradability and a low carbon footprint.
