The Milano Design Week 2023 was a vibrant event that took place at many different locations in Milano. One of the highlights was the Isola Design Festival focused on the theme “Nothing Happens If Nothing Happens”, emphasising regeneration and sustainable design. Rather than merely showcasing sustainable design products, the festival aimed to inspire change by going beyond the ordinary. Designers and studios gathered to rethink, regenerate, and remediate, creating something truly impactful. It encouraged designers to push boundaries to highlight the importance of regeneration in the world of design. Myceen had the honour of presenting our seating block at the Fuorisalone, which is a large structure that is partially outdoors, creating an immersive experience for visitors. Fluorisalone continues to host a variety of design-related activities, exhibitions and pop-up installations, design talks and workshops throughout the year. Definitely worth a visit when in Milan!
